Lightup.ai engaged DodgeUX during a period of rapid product development and company growth. While the underlying technology was advancing quickly, the public-facing experience had not kept pace. The existing website lacked clarity, visual maturity, and a cohesive story that explained the value of the product to prospective customers.
What began as product UX support expanded into a broader marketing and brand engagement, with the goal of aligning Lightup.ai’s external presence with the sophistication of the platform being built internally.

DodgeUX served as the lead design partner across marketing and brand execution. The work focused on translating a technically complex product into a clear, compelling narrative that could be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ownership included defining the overall visual direction, designing page-level layouts, creating custom illustrations, and guiding content structure to support a more intentional storytelling approach. Work was done in close collaboration with executive leadership and product stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company’s evolving positioning.
The Real Problem
While Lightup.ai’s technology was advancing, its website did not reflect the credibility or maturity required to support growth. The existing experience lacked visual hierarchy, clear value articulation, and an intentional information architecture. As a result, prospective customers struggled to understand what the product did, why it mattered, and how it differentiated itself.
The challenge was not simply aesthetic. The site needed to communicate complex ideas quickly, establish trust, and present Lightup.ai as a serious enterprise-ready platform.

The redesigned marketing experience introduced a more modern, confident visual language that aligned with the product work already underway. Content was restructured into clearer sections, allowing users to understand the platform’s value, capabilities, and use cases without cognitive overload.
Custom illustrations and a refined visual system helped support storytelling while making complex concepts more approachable.
